I am Sarah – I received a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University and a certificate in User Experience Design from UCLA Extension. Since graduating, I have worked professionally as a designer with Oblong Industries, Celerity, Vital Findings, and Radian.
Understanding Users
I have hands-on experience conducting user research to uncover meaningful insights that shape product design. I’m especially drawn to the way UX research uncovers who users are, what drives them, and the challenges they face when interacting with a product or service. I’ve used a range of qualitative and quantitative methods—including user interviews, surveys, workshops, usability testing, and A/B testing—to gather data and inform design decisions that truly meet user needs.
Design
As a UX/UI Designer, I’ve led design projects from initial concept through to final handoff, taking full ownership of the end-to-end process. I specialize in translating user needs and business goals into intuitive, pixel-perfect interfaces that are both visually compelling and highly functional. My process typically involves conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, iterating based on feedback, and finalizing high-fidelity designs ready for developer handoff. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency, usability, and technical feasibility—always striving to deliver solutions that enhance the user experience while driving business outcomes.
